Simple Bowls That Fuel Your Training

You don't need a meal plan. You need a formula.

Strict meal plans fail for the same reason strict workouts fail: life gets in the way. Instead of prescribing exact menus, our nutrition coaching uses one repeatable bowl formula that works for lunch, dinner, meal prep or eating out. Learn it once, use it forever.

The Tallowmere bowl: 4 parts

  • A palm-and-a-half of protein. Chicken, fish, eggs, tofu, lentils or Greek yogurt — roughly 30–40g to support muscle repair after training.
  • A fist of slow carbs. Rice, quinoa, potatoes, oats or whole-grain bread. Carbs are training fuel — cutting them is the fastest way to stall progress.
  • Two handfuls of color. Any two vegetables or fruits. Color variety covers the micronutrients that support energy and recovery.
  • A thumb of fats. Olive oil, nuts, avocado or cheese. Fats carry flavor and keep you full for hours.

“No weighing, no apps, no banned foods. I just build the bowl, train hard and eat until satisfied. Down 9 kilos and stronger than ever.”

— Omar H., Tallowmere client since 2025

Timing matters less than you think

Eat a normal bowl 2–3 hours before training and another within a few hours after, and you've covered 90% of nutrient timing. A banana or a glass of milk before early-morning sessions is plenty. Hydration deserves more attention than timing: pale-yellow urine and steady energy beat any supplement protocol.
